Acupuncture

  • Acupuncture is performed by inserting thin, sterile, stainless steel needles into specific points on the body.
  • Most acupuncture points are located along 14 major channels, which form a network that carries blood and energy throughout the entire body (Chi).
  • Acupuncture produces a physiological response. It can provide pain relief, stimulate the immune and nervous systems, increase microcirculation, and decrease inflammation

Photonic Light Therapy

  • Reducing pain by increasing endorphin production, a natural pain killer.
  • Reducing inflammation-suppresses enzymes that create swelling, redness, and pain, and boosts the release of anti-inflammatory enzymes.
  • Increasing lymphatic drainage
  • Increasing circulation
  • Speeding the healing process by up to 70%
  • Relaxing tight muscles and quickly releases muscle cramps

Testimonials

See what our patients parents have to say about their sessions with Pet Acupuncture Therapy

Our beautiful Dogue De Bordeaux Roxy, was diagnosed with Arthritis by a vet specialist at only 12 months old. She was constantly limping & anti-inflammatory meds weren’t working. Instead of surgery, Karen worked her magic & now Roxy is able to run around & go for walks again. Karen is so lovely & provides a wonderful service that is affordable. Being a giant breed of dog (50kgs) I was worried about how Karen would get Roxy to sit still during treatment but it was never an issue, in fact Roxy just snored away during the acupuncture! I highly recommend Karen’s services.

Acupuncture has made a huge difference to my Warmblood mare who was very tight/stiff/short. She’s happy, relaxed & enjoying her new found freedom. Thanks Karen!
